Tesla's Asia Pacific recruiter says the company is "officially coming to Vietnam" and has posted five local jobs: sales, service, HR, purchasing and a charging developer expected to juggle 20-plus sites. No launch date, models or prices yet.

Tesla's Texas Robotaxi roster passed 1,000 on Tuesday, and Cybercabs now outnumber Model Ys 544 to 507. Tesla also says Optimus will soon plug the cars in to charge, and Musk says beach coverage is 'coming soon' in Miami and Tampa.

Tesla's updated FSD (Supervised) safety report puts cars with the system engaged at 6,006,200 miles per major collision, about nine times the U.S. average and three times a manually driven Tesla with active safety on. Fleet FSD miles hit 16.7 billion.

From Oct. 28, Turo lets U.S. travelers book Teslas with FSD (Supervised) verified through Tesla's API. Eligible hosts get a free one-month FSD trial. Model 3 and Model Y are already Turo's third- and fourth-most popular cars.

Tesla Japan has officially announced Halloween Mode, and update 2026.38.3.1 has been reaching Japanese cars since Oct. 22: a ghost-costume car, skeleton pedestrians, an owl-hoot turn signal, a roaring lock sound and Set Arrival Energy. It arrived about two weeks after the U.S., not the usual one to two months.

Latvia's road safety authority CSDD has recognized the Dutch approval for Tesla Assisted Driving, formerly FSD (Supervised), making it the 10th EU country. CSDD cited Tesla changes: a lower speeding threshold, offsets that reset after every trip and stronger driver monitoring. Rollout 'begins soon.'

Barclays analyst Dan Levy upgraded Tesla to Overweight and raised his target to $450 from $370. A likely SpaceX combination is 'a key part of the bull case,' he says, along with auto growth, energy storage 'nearly sold out for 2027,' FSD adoption above 75% and a robotaxi mileage jump.
