It opens full-screen like any other app and always loads the latest stories, so you’ll never read yesterday’s news by accident. Zero to installed faster than a Plaid.
iPhone & iPad
- Open evxnews.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up). On iOS 26 you may need to tap ••• next to the address bar first, then Share.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. (Not there? Tap Edit Actions at the bottom of the list to add it.)
- Leave Open as Web App switched on if you see it, then tap Add.
Tip: on older iOS versions this only works in Safari. On iOS 16.4 and newer you can also do it from Chrome or Edge using the same Share → Add to Home Screen steps.
Android
- Open evxnews.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu (top right).
- Tap Install app (some phones show Add to Home screen, then Install).
- Confirm with Install. The EVX News icon lands on your home screen.
Desktop (Chrome or Edge)
- Open evxnews.com.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow).
- Click Install. EVX News opens in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar or Dock.
Good to know
- The app is the website, so it updates itself. No updates to download, ever.
- Prefer Japanese? Install from our Japanese page and the app opens straight to the 日本語 site.
- To remove it, long-press the icon and delete it like any other app.
