Tesla Japan has officially announced Halloween Mode, and update 2026.38.3.1 has been reaching Japanese cars since Oct. 22: a ghost-costume car, skeleton pedestrians, an owl-hoot turn signal, a roaring lock sound and Set Arrival Energy. It arrived about two weeks after the U.S., not the usual one to two months.

Latvia's road safety authority CSDD has recognized the Dutch approval for Tesla Assisted Driving, formerly FSD (Supervised), making it the 10th EU country. CSDD cited Tesla changes: a lower speeding threshold, offsets that reset after every trip and stronger driver monitoring. Rollout 'begins soon.'

Barclays analyst Dan Levy upgraded Tesla to Overweight and raised his target to $450 from $370. A likely SpaceX combination is 'a key part of the bull case,' he says, along with auto growth, energy storage 'nearly sold out for 2027,' FSD adoption above 75% and a robotaxi mileage jump.

More than 50 Tesla Cybercabs were spotted dropping off fans at the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin on race day, and Tesla's Robotaxi account summed it up in one word: "Swarm." Tesla added 43 Cybercabs to its Texas roster on Saturday, taking the fleet to 970.

A Tesla media document posted on X lays out what each Roadster trim gets: carbon-ceramic brakes and dihedral doors on Performance, gold glass and four thrusters on Thrust, two COPVs, 10 thrusters and Ano White paint on Rocket. Tesla.com now opens with the car, too.

Tesla now lets Cybercab passengers pull up a live rear camera view mid-ride, tap for more cameras, and black out the screen with a new quiet mode. A Tesla AI engineer says the camera tuning was optimized with Grok. Update 2026.38.5.11 is also rolling out.

Tesla's Grünheide plant built 7,000 Model Ys in a single week, a new record, while running around the clock on weekdays only. That's about 1,400 cars a day, roughly 364,000 a year, and still about 500 a week below the 7,500 target set for October.

The Tesla Roadster from the McGregor reveal is on free display in the Petersen Automotive Museum lobby in Los Angeles from Oct. 24 to 27. Tesla also posted a video of the Roadster's fighter-jet-style interface, complete with Track Mode and a "Thruster · 5,500 PSI" gauge.

Texas DMV records now list 927 Tesla Robotaxi vehicles, 420 Cybercabs and 507 Model Ys, up 124 in a week. Austin's service area now reaches Circuit of the Americas for F1 weekend, with rides until 1 AM.
